| We received the letter shown below in response to the event we did down in Vero Beach for Chicks With Checks. Just more confirmation we're doing the right thing! Dear Friend, On behalf of Coach Grayson Marshall, Positive image Project, Chicks with Checks and the Vero Venture Network, we wish to extend our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to you for participating in our T-Shirt Swap event. Your contribution means that one more person can feel the power of a positive message. If we each contribute a little, together we can do a lot! Collaborative cooperation is the new model for working together and spreading messages. Simply put, if you see a message, product or service and you like it, you will tell your friends and they will tell their friends. That is the strategy that Chicks with Checks, the Positive Image Project and networkers everywhere are successfully employing. Each little bit turns into a major impact when we work together. The Positive Image Project is all about teaching positive core values and giving back to everyone affected by that message. Think about it.... How do you feel when you are approached by someone who is dressed to intimidate; wearing skulls, daggers and other horrific imagery on their clothes? Does it make you want to avoid that person? You may miss an opportunity to know someone important because you couldn’t get past that negative image they are portraying. The same goes for the wearer. A lack of awareness about how outer appearances reflect what people are feeling inside can also result in missing an important connection. There will be opportunities in the coming months to do more with and for this project. We welcome your input and your help. Support can be given in many ways. • Wear your Coach Grayson T-shirt and tell the people you meet about your positive experiences. • Forward email correspondence to your friends and contacts. • Contribute your time and talent to help build awareness for this mission. • Help to fund the mission by donating at http://positiveimageproject.org. ***Who do you know? We would appreciate your help in connecting us with educators and school administrators, youth service organizations, law enforcement, city/county officials and groups that support youth and schools in Vero Beach and Indian River County, to be involved in a county wide T-Shirt Swap this coming April at the Gifford Youth Activity Center.
